This is included in the parking fee. After payment you receive the confirmation and further information by email. For Park+Ride you can park at the following car park:
- Q-Park P+R Hoornwijck
From the location you can continue your way to the city centre or the Hague coast with tram line 1 (Broekpolder stop) and tram line 15 (Laan van 's-Gravenmade stop).
After making your booking, you receive a confirmation email from Mobian. This email contains a link to the Mobian app. To be able to use the tram, you need to download the app and use it to activate your tram ticket. Only after you have activated the ticket in the app is it valid for inspection.
With the activated ticket (QR code) you and your fellow travellers can continue your trip with the tram. For Park+Beach you can do this with tram 9 between the stop at the Central Station and the stop at Scheveningen. For Park+Ride you can do this with tram line 1 (Broekpolder stop) and tram line 15 (Laan van 's-Gravenmade stop) to the city centre or the Hague coast. You do not need to check in or out in the tram, but show the QR code in the app during an inspection. Please note: a QR code from the email that has not been activated is not valid and will not be accepted.
The ticket is a day return and is valid for one outward and return trip between the indicated stops. In the Mobian app it is indicated with your ticket for what tram line and stops exactly the ticket is valid. You can find more information about the timetable at htm.nl/dienstregeling or via the HTM app.
Registration recognition means that your registration is automatically ‘read’ at the entrance of the car park and the barrier opens automatically. So you do not need to scan a QR code.
You need to book because the number of available parking spaces may differ on a day-to-day basis. If you park at the car parks without a booking then you pay the regular parking fee of the parking location. You also still need to organise your transport to the beach, at the regular rate.
It may be that a parking location is not available on certain days, for instance because an event takes place on that day for which all parking spaces are required. This is then clearly indicated in the calendar.
